🎉 Meeting point: the Marina Greens parking lot off of Marina Blvd., between 9:15 – 9:45am. Drive will start at 10:00am.Due to parking in the city, the meeting point will not be in the usual manner of a Starbucks or Peet’s parking lot. Instead, you’ll first need to pickup your coffee and breakfast snacks before we meet.
There’s a Starbucks at 2132 Chestnut St., a Peet’s Coffee at 2080 Chestnut St., and a Noah’s Bagels at 2075 Chestnut St. between Mallorca and Pierce Sts., in the Marina District, not far from our meeting point.
Once you have your caffeine fix, the meeting point will be at Marina Greens parking lot off of Marina Blvd., between 9:15 – 9:45am, for your Oscar moment. We will depart at 10:00 am.
Once the drive begins, there won’t be any rest stops, as we will be driving mostly through residential areas. Also, we will do our best to caravan, however with stops signs, traffic lights and city traffic, that may not always be possible, but we will meet at the ending point. Detailed movie locations and directions will be provided before the start of the drive.
We’ll explore movies locations from the Golden Age of Hollywood to the present as we traverse various San Francisco neighborhoods. So dress the part and slip behind the wheel of your Mercedes-Benz and you’ll be the “Star" exploring the various locations.
At the conclusion of the tour in the Noe Valley neighborhood, feel free to find other members and explore local restaurants in that neighborhood or any other areas of San Francisco that intrigued you. Restaurant recommendations in comments.
