Lyster Opera is delighted to return to the Phee Broadway Theatre in Castlemaine with a beautiful new production of Gluck’s Orphée et Eurydice.This timeless opera tells the story of Orpheus, the grieving musician who dares to journey into the underworld to bring back his beloved Eurydice. Along the way he faces the fury of the underworld, the stillness of Elysium and the ultimate test of love, faith and endurance.
This production is sung in French with English surtitles, and features some of Melbourne’s most exciting professional singers.
