Lyster Opera returns to Castlemaine with Gluck’s timeless masterpiece Orpheus and Eurydice—a moving tale of love, loss and the power of music.
This new production from Lyster Opera features a cast of some of Victoria’s most exciting professional singers, including acclaimed tenor Paul Biencourt in the title role. The performance is accompanied by a chamber orchestra led by Pamela Christie.
Directed by Jamie Moffat, with sets by Blair Parkinson and costumes by Maddy Connellan, this production brings classical elegance and dramatic clarity to one of opera’s most beloved works.
