The Orono Wind Ensemble has been selected to perform at the Minnesota Music Educators Association (MMEA) Mid-Winter clinic on Friday, February 14th. Being selected is a huge accomplishment for the students, our music department, and the school district. We were selected based on recordings from our concert at the Ted Mann Concert Hall on the campus of the University of Minnesota last May. Recordings from that performance also earned the band third prize in the national competition for the American Prize for outstanding wind band performance- high school division. The high school band department's motto is excellence, pride, and community- we are proud to put our program on display and represent Orono. The have been incredibly focused and are putting their hearts, minds, and souls into a fun and unique repertoire set to share. We hope you will consider joining us!
