Origami is the traditional Japanese art of paper folding. We're taking a hard core edge on this elegant art form to use those same geometric patterns to make our own sun catchers from glass. You will learn the copper foiling method to construct a flat glass panel.
Tara wil teach you:
Colour selection and glass textures
Cutting and grinding glass to a pattern
Foiling, soldering and polishing your pieces to take home!
Glass art is tricky, and yep- it's a little dangerous but if you're up for the challenge to make a sparkling artwork and learn new skills then I'd love to host you in this workshop.
No experience necessary, all materials and tools provided! Bring enclosed shoes and a can- do attitude
