Community Event is here!NthAdventure Orienteering Club invites you to "Orienteering Community Meet" an amazing opportunity to learn more about this GLOBAL sport ORIENTEERING.
Orienteering is one of the prime disciplines in Adventure Racing. It’s a sport that requires navigational skills using a map and compass to navigate from point to point in diverse and usually unfamiliar terrain whilst moving at speed.”
What you will learn:
1. On-ground training for the basics
2. Common Mistakes while using maps
3. Demo Run of 2-3KM with Contour Maps
4. Meet like-minded people, experience sharing, and more
Note:
* Exact location will be shared with registered participants
* Participants need to reach on their own
* Carry your own hydration bag, energy bars and anything else you might need
* Wear comfortable clothing
* Report 15 minutes before the event
* Maps will be shared prior to the event
