About this Event
Featuring works by Dvořák, Elgar, Fauré and Sibelius – alongside pop classics, musical theatre favourites, traditional hymns and folk tunes, reflecting on and celebrating the memories of loved ones.
This year, 2025, our Northesk Parish Church organ celebrates its 120th anniversary. To mark this milestone, our organist, Jeonghee Min, will present two special recitals on Saturday afternoons this autumn.
The second recital, “Songs of Hope and Remembrance: from Miserere to Tears in Heaven”, takes place at 2.30 pm on Saturday 1 November. In the lead-up to Remembrance Week, the programme brings together music of lament, songs offering comfort in times of loss, and works that proclaim everlasting hope — each with its own voice across time and place.
Tea and coffee will be served after each recital.
Admission is free, with donations warmly welcomed. Please come along and celebrate with us — we would love to see you there!
