James Kibbie's program, performed on the Flentrop organ, includes music by Bach, Mozart, Price, Ropek, Sowande, and others.Dr. Kibbie is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Michigan, where his forty-two-year tenure included service as University Organist and Chair of the Organ Department. Renowned as an authority on the organ music of Johann Sebastian Bach, he has recorded the complete Bach works on historic baroque organs in Germany, garnering enthusiastic critical acclaim: "James Kibbie plays with consummate clarity, brilliance and grandeur. There is no charge for admission. Paid parking is available on a first-come-first-served basis in the Bryan Center Garage at 125 Science Drive. ADA parking is available in the surface lot at the same address.
