The Vermont Chapter of the American Guild of Organists (AGO) will sponsor a Progressive organ recital in Springfield on Sunday, September 14 th . This FREE* recital begins @3:00pm at the United Methodist Church, 10 Valley Street, then continues @3:45pm at First Congregational Church, 77 Main Street, then concludes @4:30pm at Calvary Baptist Church, 156 Main Street, followed by a reception in the basement fellowship hall.Works by Johann Kuhnau, G. F. Handel, J.S. Bach, Robert Schumann, Louis Vierne, Marco Bossi and others will be performed by members of the Vermont AGO. *There is no admission charge, but a freewill offering will be received.
