🀣 This talk will be presented by Douglas Vye, past president of the Ottawa Orchid Society.Douglas Vye will be presenting an introduction to orchids and their cultivation. Douglas has been growing orchids for more than 30 years and is a past president of the Ottawa Orchid Society. His collection at one point numbered over 150 orchids. His presentation will cover orchid physiology, natural environments, home growing conditions, and some of challenges with orchids.

- Design: "A Star is Born" (miniature design in an eggshell) - maximum dimension in any direction (12.5 cm).
- Display: "Winter Leftovers" - collection of branches, berries, dried grasses (5-10)
- Bring & Brag - Special plant, photo, flower to share
