For the third year in a row, we'll gather and run through Vienna.
You're welcome to participate regardless of previous running experience / skills.

About Orange the World:
The event is part of the global campaign, spotlighting the urgent need to end gender-based violence. "Orange Day" proclaimed by the UNITE to End Violence against Women initiative to be the 25th of each month, calls people everywhere to wear the color orange and take action to end violence against women and girls in communities, at home, in public spaces, in schools and workplaces, during conflict and in times of peace. As a bright and optimistic colour, orange represents a future free from violence against women and girls around the world.
This year, we focus on the Identify Me campaign and the transnational dimensions of femi(ni)cide and the policy solutions needed to identify victims, prosecute perpetrators, and close justice gaps. About Orange Run:
The Orange Run was initiatied in 2023 as a movement to unite people in the fight against gender-based violence. Organised in the spirit of the UN's "Orange Day" campaign, this run encourages participants to wear orange and raise awareness for a future free from violence against women and girls.

17:30 Meet up for Orange Run
From the Vienna International Center to the Embassy of Sweden (Schwedenhaus) in the 9th district, we will commence a 6km symbolic community Orange Run to raise awareness and show solidarity with survivors of sexualized violence. Everyone is welcome!
18:45 Reception at Schwedenhaus
Reception at Schwedenhaus concluding the day with networking, refreshments and reflections on the themes of justice, solidarity and action.
