Welcome to Moms on Maternity's Fun Luncheon event in Orange County. We talk babies, kids, self-care and careers. Come connect with like-minded local Pregnant and New Moms, meet new friends and find support!
Each event has a theme and includes time with experts (see below our wonderful Partners!), a motivational speaker, a delicious lunch, gifts and social time! This event is 100% baby and stroller friendly of course :). All events include a Pop Up Professional Photo Studio. Please look forward to a special memory keepsake of you or you and your baby!
May Guest Speaker: The wonderful, Yesica Rodriguez of Yes Yoga will be with us sharing her Journey of Motherhood while growing a Yoga practice. She has spent over a decade working with the Pregnant and New Mom population. Her practice is rooted in helping women recognize the power of Motherhood. She will lead a mini practice for us on May 20th that incorporates poses perfect for both the Pregnant and New Mom. Bring your favorite yoga mat or chair yoga is an option too.
July Guest Speaker: Excited to have Rachel Benson, LCSW of Tustin Counseling presenting for us Mamas! Come get a taste of what Perinatal Therapy is like! Rachel is a mental health clinician with a special Certification in Perinatal Mental Health. She will cover the identity shift into "Mom" and share about what you may be feeling and thinking at this special time of life. Rachel will also include some great tips for Stress Relief for your mind and body.
September Guest Speaker: This will be a good one! Come hear from one of the best when it comes to feeding your baby. Dawnita Wicks, IBCLC, RN will cover how to think about feeding so it's simple and you and baby feel confident... from Newborn to Infant stages. Topics include understanding your baby's cues, bottle feeding, breastfeeding, pumping, starting solids, formula and more.
