About “Gems of California Impressionism”
“Gems of California Impressionism,” curated by James Irvine Swinden, showcases landscape paintings from California’s coastal scenes to picturesque mountain-scapes. During this private tour, guided by Mr. Swinden, we will experience the vibrant colors of daytime views alongside the serene beauty of moonlit nights. With impressionistic depictions of ships, coastal cliffs, mountains, and creeks, this exhibition highlights the rich diversity and natural beauty of California. After the tour, eat your lunch on the floral grounds of this Mediterranean villa, then break out your plein air kit and brushes to paint for two hours. This will be a heavenly experience for plein air painters!

Cost: CAC Member: $12 ($14.64 with service fees) plus $8 admission fee to Casa Romantica collected at the door
