#OptOutside this year and join our educators for a guided bike ride around Lake Shelby at Gulf State Park. This 5-mile round trip will include some fantastic views and information about Gulf State Park's biodiversity.Location: Meet at the Gulf Oak Ridge parking lot. There will be a stopping point halfway through at the Lake Shelby picnic area for bathroom breaks and water refills.
Adult guests may reserve a FREE Bloom Bike Share adult sized bike at registration. Guests are also welcome to use their own bikes or rent a specialty bike (kids, tandem, trailer, etc.) from one of our great local outfitters! Helmets are encouraged for all guests and required for those under 16 years old.
Please bring water to stay hydrated, sunscreen, sunglasses, weather appropriate clothing, and anything else you may need. Ride plan subject to change based on weather.
