FROM THE VOICE CHAMPION TO THE COUNTRY STORYTELLER
Jake Hoot is a wonderful country music storyteller who doesn't just sing country music-he lives it. Rooted in faith, devoted to family, and carrying the heart of the country in every note! His performance in Season 17 of the Knockout Rounds singing "Cover Me Up" brought tears of joy to the audience and judges! He was born in Texas and raised between the Dominican Republic and Tennessee, and his music embodies a life steeped in faith, family and authenticity.
As part of NBC's 2026 midseason premiere schedule "The Voice: Battle of Champions" will premiere Monday Feb. 23rd with the winner being announced on April 29th. They'll be 3 coaches, each working with 10 performers, all former winners and finalists. Coaches will be Adam Levine, John Legend and Kelly Clarkson who was Jake's coach when he won season 17. With Jake and Kelly working together again, he could be on his way to another win!
