Opening to Grace : One Day Retreat
Are you longing for renewal and refreshing in the presence of God?
Do you want to hear God more clearly or experience deeper healing in your heart, mind, or relationships?
The Opening to Grace Retreat creates space for exactly that.
An Opening to Grace retreat is a time to release burdens, listen deeply for God’s voice, draw strength gathering with other believers and allow prayer for your healing.
We use the psychological theory of Gestalt in tandem with the ministry of Jesus’ healing. Our time will be spent in prayer, worship, silence, and guided healing work.
Our faith is that Jesus nurtures and heals each person differently, and that God’s transforming love is offered to you as you open up to it. You can expect each of the leaders to employ both spiritual and psychological insights as you work with your body, emotions and spirit. And we seek the presence and power of Holy Spirit through prayer before and throughout the retreat.
You will have time to be the focus of the group if you request it, and you will be free to decide for yourself if, when, and how to fully participate. All participants will belong to an ad hoc church, praying and making responses when the leader welcomes it.
Many participants come feeling weary, stuck, or searching.
They often leave with a renewed sense of peace, clarity, and the Lord’s nearness.
One thing we always experience: God shows up.
