With pentadox, samuel ber has created a unique vehicle that gives free rein to his creativity. The band has been focusing on long-term exploration of new concepts and ideas about composition, improvisation, interaction and navigation. Since its birth in 2015 during their residency in jazz station, pentadox has been mixing elements of jazz, classical, experimental, improvised, electronic and contemporary music and has been regularly creating alternative ensembles by inviting other artists, engendering adventurous collaborations which each time reshape the musical vision of these artists. Today, pentadox continues its investigations, focusing on the trio. It shouldn’t be a surprise, then, that pentadox has proven successful and their talent has been recognized in competitions and awards. The group was selected as the belgian finalist of the b-jazz international contest 2016, they were rewarded in july 2018 by receiving the award for young jazz talent ghent at the ghent jazz festival and in 2020 they were in the finals of the avignon jazz festival. Pentadox recorded a new album during a residency at sounds jazz club, brussels. This album was released on october 2024 by challenge records and in 2025, pentadox is ten years old. The perfect opportunity to celebrate!

Sounds celebrates the beginning of the Season with this fantastic performance! After the event there will be a Round Midnight Jam, to play Jazz until late night!
