So I just received the invite to the 85th anniversary of the school for Mass followed by Dinner, drinks and a tour on April 25th 2026. During this event the time capsule placed on May 26th 1976 will be opened. The students from K - 8 placed items in the capsule with the hope of returning on this day 50 years later to personally relive that day with there classmates, families and faculty.
I truly would like to see the items come out out of the capsule as they went in. What will become of that can of Campbell's soup, your mom's Irish soda bread recipe, the class photos, the Bay City Rollers album. What's the plan? Even more then a burried memory being uncovered I look forward to what was and now to share it with the alumni of the classes 1976 - 1984 that actually contributed and were part of ceremony.
