Nightclub The Depot
At this welcoming nightclub in Station North, just a few blocks from Penn Station, you'll find a lively spot run by the charismatic Margaret. Although the bar typically opens at 7 pm, Margaret has made an exception for none other than Edgar Allan Poe. Poets, welcome to Baltimore! This place is yours, and if you just woke up, their signature cocktail—aptly named "Margaret"—will be sure to jolt you awake, whether you're ready for it or not!
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to engage with poetry and learn from Amy about how Poe’s personal struggles and tragedies contributed to the perception of him as an erratic—sometimes mad—genius. Reserve your spot now!
