Join us on Tuesday, April 14th for Opening Day and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the West End Farmers Market Pavilion! After months of construction, we’re so excited to be officially moving the West End Farmers Market under the Pavilion and welcoming everyone to enjoy! At 2:30pm, we’ll have a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the vision and importance of this pavilion for our local food community. Stick around for opening day of the West End Farmers Market’s main season, starting at 3pm! The market will feature a plant sale, fun kids activities, hot food, samples from the LEAP Kitchen, live music, and our weekly local farmers and food vendors!
Plus, it’s Double Match Day for customers with SNAP/EBT—for every $1 you spend with SNAP/EBT, you get $2 free to spend on fruits and vegetables!
People who participate in SNAP, WIC, and Medicaid can double their food dollars every week on fresh fruits and vegetables. All kids ages 2-17 also get $5 Kids Bucks to spend on fruits and veggies of their choice.
West End Farmers Market and LEAP Community Store are open from 3-6pm every Tuesday at 1027 Patterson Ave, SW.
