The Alice Springs Masters Games Opening Ceremony will bring the entertainment to ‘The Games with Heart’, with plenty of musical acts for everyone to enjoy. The free family-friendly events will feature a line-up of crowd favourites and up-and-coming musicians.The Opening Ceremony at TIO Traeger Park Oval, in partnership with Alice Springs Town Council will welcome the athletes with a march, Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony, and concert featuring DJ JLC, Australian rock band Taxiride featuring Jason Singh and Australian country music artist and songwriter, Brad Cox.
Kicking off at 5pm, Saturday 12 October, the community event will include food and beverage vendors for hungry attendees, and fireworks.
