**More information will be shared here closer to the event**Join Land for Wildlife in collaboration with VegeMap and learn how to build a pollen funnel trap! We’re looking for a wide distribution of traps across Alice Springs, so if you're up for setting one up on your property, this is your chance to help!
**What is a Pollen Funnel Trap?**
When plants flower, microscopic pollen is released into the air. Pollen traps catch these particles from the air, allowing us to study them and learn more about the plants in a specific area. Data from these traps helps us understand local plant diversity and environmental changes over time. Pollen trap data is gathered annually from properties where traps have been set up.
