Learn self-sufficiency skills at ASATTCI's monthly workshops! This month, learn about public transit through the lens of mutual aid.
About this Event

This community-centered skill share hosted by ASATTCI, a nonprofit, explores how we move through our cities and how transportation can be more inclusive, accessible, and community-informed. Participants will be introduced to local transit options, alternative transportation methods, and practical strategies for navigating routes with greater confidence.

The session creates space for open dialogue around mobility, access, and shared responsibility, with a focus on uplifting lived experiences and community knowledge. Attendees are encouraged to share resources, tips, and routes that may not be widely known, helping to build a more collective understanding of how to get around.

By combining basic navigation skills with collaborative mapping and discussion, this class aims to strengthen confidence in using public and alternative transportation while fostering connection, inclusion, and community care.

About our host: Jasmine Nutt, MSW is a strategic board partner and social impact professional with a foundation in social work, specializing in organizational capacity building, grant development, and project management.
