Artists at NW Marine Art Works (NWMAW) are opening their studios on Saturday & Sunday, May 31st + June 1st (10am - 4pm), giving you the opportunity to visit where some of Portland’s best art is created, and shop directly from talented makers. Artists from North Coast Seed Building, Carton Service Building and River St Studios will be showing & selling their work as well.
With more than 70 artists participating, art lovers will find paintings, prints, fine art, ceramics, photography, sculpture, mixed media, glass, jewelry, apparel and more. Visitors can support local artists, listen to live music and enjoy local food and drink while interacting with artists in their creative work spaces.
This quintessential Portland experience highlights the vibrancy of Portland's art scene and has become an annual event adored by both locals and out-of-towners.
BONUS: Don't miss the third annual SMALL ART / BIG GIVE fundraising event at NW Marine Art Works taking place during Open Studios. Dozens of artists will create 6"x6" original works to raise money for one of Portland’s exceptional nonprofits. 100% of sales will benefit North Pole Studio, a local organization that empowers artists with autism & I/DD to lead self-determined lives & careers in the arts. Doors open at 10 a.m.
