Two Big WeekendsStudio opening times TBC
Open Studios 2026 begins with Weekend One, the first half of what we’re proudly calling Two Big Weekends — a bold step up for the Harborough Artists Cluster and an invitation to experience our work in a deeper, more generous way.
This year, the group has gone big. Instead of squeezing everything into a single burst, Open Studios stretches across two full weekends, giving visitors more time, more space, and more opportunities to explore studios across Market Harborough and the surrounding villages. It’s about slowing things down, making room for conversation, and letting the work do what it does best.
Weekend One marks the opening chapter: studios open their doors, artists welcome visitors into the places where ideas are tested, mistakes are made, and finished works finally emerge. You’ll meet artists in their own environments & workshops — and see how varied creative practice really is.
There’s another quiet but important shift happening too. For the first time, this format gives artists themselves the rare chance to visit each other’s studios. That doesn’t usually happen. Open Studios is normally all hands on deck, doors open, visitors coming through. By spreading the event across two weekends, we’re creating space for connection within the group as well as with the public — something that feels very Cluster.
More details coming soon, including participating studios, a downloadable map and trail information.
