Join me for Lowe Mill’s Open Studio Night and experience What We Carry / What We Release in the North Gallery.This body of work is rooted in memory, endurance, sacrifice, and the things we hold onto long after we should have let them go. Through large scale portraits, hand studies, layered textures, reclaimed surfaces, and dripped abstraction, the exhibit explores the tension between what shapes us and what finally sets us free.
This show has become one of the most personal and ambitious things I’ve ever created and we are almost there. I truly could not have done this without the encouragement, support, late night pep talks, shared posts, studio visits, and love from this community.

25% of all gallery sales from the exhibition will benefit the Beautiful Rainbow Foundation’s McDuffie Legacy Scholarship Fund supporting students with IEPs who are often overlooked in traditional scholarship opportunities.
