Create something amazing and useful during Functional Art Week at Creative Chaos.
This hands-on workshop is all about turning creativity into something you can use in your everyday life. Instead of traditional canvas, you’ll design and customize functional pieces like home décor, kitchen items, and personalized gifts.
Whether you want to keep it simple or go all out with color, texture, and mixed media—this is your chance to make art that doesn’t just sit on a wall.
Projects may include:
• Custom clocks
• Painted or resin cutting boards
• Serving trays and charcuterie boards
• Decorative signs or wall hooks
• Painted glassware or vases
• Functional mixed media pieces
We’ll provide a variety of surfaces, paints, and embellishments to choose from. You’re also welcome to bring your own item to customize—cutting boards, trays, small furniture pieces, or anything you'd like to transform.

Great for beginners, creatives, and anyone who loves making things with a purpose.
No experience needed. Our instructors are available to guide you as much or as little as you'd like—from full creative freedom to step-by-step help.

Small Projects: $20 each
Medium Projects: $25–35
Large Projects: $40–55
Bring your own base and save $5!
Base can be a tray, cutting board, clock base, sign, small shelf, etc.)
Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks!
Alcoholic beverages are allowed if you are over 21!
