Open Studio

Open Studio, Family & Friends Day is designed to provide a fun, interactive experience for families in the community while creating a platform for local artists and small business owners to connect with the public.

Our primary goals for this event are to:

• Showcase the unique offerings of local businesses in Connex Office Business Park
• Provide a fun and interactive experience for families in the community that encourages creativity and artistic expression
• Promote and increase awareness of the importance of supporting local businesses in 76104

Open studios: Connex will open its studios to the public, allowing families to see the creative process and interact with the artists and small business owners at Connex. The businesses will be available to answer questions and provide demonstrations.

Art Classes: Families can participate in hands-on art classes hosted by TROOF Graphics, a local art and graphic design company.

Pop-Up Shop: A curated exhibit of artwork from local artists will be on display throughout the day, giving families a chance to admire and purchase artwork such as ballet prints from Brown Girls Do Ballet.

Live music: Local musicians will perform live music throughout the day, creating a festive atmosphere.

Food and beverages: Local food vendors will provide food and beverages for purchase in partnership with Hustle Blendz and a yet-to-be-announced food truck. This will create a lively and delicious experience for families.
