Foundations: Perspective is Key is an exciting in-person event where you can learn the art of hair cutting from the renowned stylist, educator, and SWHA's Independent Educator of 2023, Ira Pope Sage. This event is hosted by Acute Salon– Fort Worth's first LGBTQ and gender inclusive hair salon!

This class will be divided into 2 sections:

10am-1pm: Look & Learn (Live demonstration from Ira)

1:30pm-5:30pm: Hands On Learning (Limited spots available)

Utilizing the Clock Concept you will learn a seven section round layer shape - the most famous, money making haircut in salon history.

You will learn:

• The importance of body position and combing direction
• Where to stand based on your layers
• A hack for sectioning quickly and easily
• How to utilize the mirror as a tool

This one lesson can open your mind, letting you see how simple things can be when you think inside the box, work the rules, and have proper boundaries.
