About this Event
Enjoy the company of other sewists while working on your own projects in a relaxed studio environment. The Open Sewing Lab is a great opportunity to continue practicing your sewing skills, move projects forward, and get help when you run into questions at the sewing machine.
A knowledgeable instructor will be present to answer questions, help troubleshoot, and offer guidance as needed while you work.
This is not a formal class, but a collaborative studio session where you can practice, experiment, and learn alongside other makers.
The Open Sewing Lab is perfect for:
• students who have taken the beginner sewing class and want more practice
• people working on personal sewing projects
• anyone who wants access to sewing machines and workspace
Bring a project you’re working on, continue something started in class, or simply come sew and learn in a supportive environment.
Materials and Equipment
Cutting mats, sewing machines, and basic sewing tools will be available for use during the session.
Participants should bring their own fabrics and project materials.
Skill Level
Open Sewing Lab is best suited for people who already know the basics of using a sewing machine.

Studio Environment
RavenFlux Studios is a small creative workshop space designed for hands-on learning and making. Open labs are intentionally kept small so everyone has room to work and ask questions.
