Beat Shack open drum circles are a great way to connect with people through rhythm. You don’t need any experience in drumming and we provide all the drums if you don’t have your own. These drum circles are especially for adults. We draw from traditional rhythms from Brazil to create a roving Carnaval drumming group. The samba workshop also includes a singalong samba circle to help familiarize the style with all participants. With each workshop, your host, Michael, delivers a mix of teaching styles to keep everyone engaged from beginners to advanced. We all have a good laugh, while it’s challenging, it’s all done with that we’re all learning!
