About this Event
Join Ottawa Choral Workshops for a FREE OPEN REHEARSAL exploring Mozart’s Requiem. Sing through selected movements with conductor Roland Graham and piano accompaniment, and discover the fascinating question of how the unfinished portions of the work have been completed over time.
The evening begins with a relaxed coffee-and-cookies meet-and-greet, followed by a guided sing-through and a short introduction to the different endings that exist for the Requiem, including the recent scholarly completion by Michael Ostrzyga that will be used in the upcoming OCW project.
Singers are encouraged to bring a friend. Anyone attending with a guest will be entered together in a draw to win free participation in the workshop as a duo (available to new OCW participants only).
All singers with prior choral experience are welcome. After the rehearsal, join the traditional post-rehearsal pub gathering at Quinn's Pub around the corner!
