Open Rehearsal Night is a favorite each season! If you've ever wanted to see how VanCity rehearses, are curious about becoming a member, or just like popping in to hear what we're working on, this is the night!For those used to guest nights or membership events, this will feel a bit different. The purpose of the evening is to give interested folks a window into how we work: the pace of learning, the rehearsal structure, how we utilize internal coaching, etc. We also have some friends and supporters who are unable to attend a performance and would like to get a peek at what we’re planning. Unlike a barbershop chorus guest night, this is not a participatory event and we will not be leading group singing.
YOU will be doing US an incredible favour by giving us an audience to sing for before our retreat! Even though the chorus is made up of experienced performers, as we all know, a heartfelt and genuine performance doesn’t just happen - just like every chorus in the world, we respond to the energy of a live audience and will learn so much from singing for you.

You're welcome to depart after saying hello at the break or stay for the whole rehearsal - your choice! You are also invited to join us at The Great Bear for a post rehearsal beverage or two.
