Grab your unfinished quilting projects and join us at Dogwood Exchange, 4950 Hwy 127 S Crossville, TN for an open quilt retreat beginning Friday, March 20th through Monday, March 23rd, 2026. Meet new people, work on projects, learn from one another and relax. Guests can check in beginning at 2 pm CST and check out is at 10 am CST.
Our facility is located on 12 acres in the historic Homesteads area. The newly built barn is home to the 24X45 open work area with large windows allowing natural light and a beautiful natural setting. Extra outlets on separate circuits have been installed for the electrical needs of guests. Guests will have access to wooden tables with adjustable rolling chairs, irons, ironing boards, design walls, cutting stations and sewing machines if needed. The barn is also equipped with a full bathroom, kitchen and two bedrooms with two twin beds.
Guests may reserve the barn bedrooms as a private room for an additional $50. Private barn bedrooms are on a first come first serve basis, to reserve contact Angela at 931-787-5838.
Our log cabin has two large dorm style rooms with 4 twin beds per room. Each room has a separate bathroom. A large open kitchen faces the sitting area and tables for guest to eat together, play games or socialize. A washer and dryer are available for use in the cabin.
Our 1935 stone Homesteads house also offers 3 private bedrooms. Two bedrooms are upstairs and one on the main level. These three bedrooms share a downstairs bathroom, kitchen and living room.
The Homesteads house private rooms can be reserved for an additional $25 on a first come first serve basis by contacting Angela at 931-787-5838. (This building is the furthest away from the sewing area.)
All dinners are provided and will be served in the dining area of the cabin where all guests can eat together. Continental style breakfast items will be provided for guest to eat at their leisure in their perspective lodging buildings. Coffee makers are provided in each building. Snacks will also be provided in the barn for all to enjoy.
The cost for the 3 night/4 day retreat is $300 plus private room upcharge if applies. To reserve your space a $100 deposit is due, the balance is due upon arrival. A full refund is available 30 days prior to arrival date only. After 30 days, the deposit is not refundable but can be transferred to a replacement guest.
Grandma's House, local fabric store offers private shopping for retreat guests with discounts and grab bags. An appointment will be scheduled for guests.
