We’ll provide the sound system with 3 mics and 3 instrument cables. Oh and a Sound Guy!
Each act will have a 10 minute set with 5 minutes in between.
Each performer will get a free drink ticket.
Bands & Percussion
Our space is quite small so we can only accommodate 3 band members MAX per group. We are also limited to hand percussion only; drum kits are too large, loud and logistically challenging for our space.
Backing Tracks
Please note “Backing Tracks” (i.e. karaoke music with the lead vocal removed) are not permitted. However, if you have produced your own original backing tracks with your own original music, these are acceptable but must be emailed to us the Friday before the open mic to ensure we can test playback prior to the show. (There are more details in the sign-up form.)
Walkins
We’ve been using this online registration model for now, to ensure we have a reasonable number of acts ahead of time. However, we should be able to accomodate 1-2 walkin acts, time permitting.
