Our open-mic-only event is back for the glorious month of May! Come ready to share whatever’s living in you right now, and at the end of the night, we’ll turn to each other and ask: What just happened here? What common threads surfaced? Visual artists and doodlers are also welcome to bring sketchbooks and respond visually during the reading. The theme, if there is one, belongs to all of us, and we’ll build it together!
Each open mic participant may read up to two poems or for four minutes — whichever comes first. Interested participants can sign up during the event, and listeners are always welcome! Arrive early to place your order for a delicious beverage or snack from ACOCA (drink preparation may be limited once the event is underway).
