March is here and that first breath of Spring is in the air! We know we have a looong way to go before it's Gin and Tonics on the patio time, but the sun is tracking higher and there's a vague scent of the warmth to come.
And if that fact doesn't SCREAM "Time for a Hootenanny!" then you need to reassess your priorities, my dear friend. Because that is EXACTLY what we shall do in honor of March.
We shall rock out like mad monkeys and enjoy the hell out of each other's company and the ecstasy of sharing ourselves in a fearless forthright fashion.
Y'all know how we roll; an eclectic array of talented performers, a passel of scintillating spectators, and the gorgeous North Street Cabaret with its panoply of inexpensive libations.
"Universal Liberation Through Creative Self-Actualization"* is our motto and a rocking good time for all is our goal.

Michael Hollywood recently returned to Wisconsin after 36 years in Chicago. He has experience as a Standup Comic, Storyteller, Musician, Performance Poet, Lecturer, Tour Guide, and Writer (amongst other things). He is co-author of a book about Chicago Filmmaking and a graduate of DePaul University's School of Continuing and Professional Studies. He considers Live Performance to be a sacred activity and takes a special joy in helping others to connect with their own creativity.
