About this Event
To ensure a 50:50 gender balance, there are an equal number of male tickets and female tickets for this event. Please purchase early to avoid disappointment. FREE ENTRY FOR ALL CONFIRMED PERFORMERS AND THEIR FRIENDS! (Simply purchase a FREE ticket below AFTER MESSAGING @EVENTSINMELB ON INSTAGRAM FOR THE FREE CODE! ONLY PERFORMERS AND THEIR FRIENDS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR FREE TICKETS, others must purchase one from $2.) ALL guests (including those unconfirmed) will have access to the venue's professional equipment, including Behringer studio mixer and Pioneer DJ decks. This is a rare opportunity to perform using high end professional equipment. For non-performers, come socialise and make new friends! A networking area and open mic karaoke is available on the BOTTOM floor. ALL open mic performances are welcome on the TOP floor. PLEASE FOLLOW US @EVENTSINMELB FOR MORE EVENTS!
Notes for performers:
A setup with PA speakers, microphone, analog studio mixer and DJ mixer with 2 controllers will be available for performers. Performers may supply their own equipment (at their own risk) such as additional cables, microphones, instruments or amps if they wish. Please bring supporting music on a USB drive (unprotected files only) to be played through our speakers or DJ mixer.
All performers including (but not limited to) singers, musicians, DJs, dancers, comedians, magicians and circus acts are welcome.
Please message @eventsinmelb on Instagram to schedule your performance time. Perfomance slots of 15 minutes, 30 minutes or 1 hour are available.
Please note we reserve the right to reject any act for any reason or none.
The best performers with the large supporting crowds will receive a paid contract to perform on a regular basis (at least one a month) at 215 Queen's Bar and a chance to win an all expenses paid trip to support international DJ TravellingWill on his world tour in 2025.
There will also be a bar area to chill out and meet new people as well as a quiet outdoors area to network, make new friends and for language exchange! Free pizza is provided to all early bird ticket holders (first come first serve), and a personal pizza and beer is provided to all *confirmed* performers (confirmed prior to event commencement).

Please have your ticket and ID ready to show door staff. 18+ event. STRICTLY NO ENTRY AFTER 8PM (unless you have joined the queue) so please arrive before then.
