We have so much to celebrate and so many people to thank for all of the recent updates to our Edwardsville Facility! Our Edwardsville Facility is also the building where our littlest lives start their second chances, and the Spring and Summer months will bring lots of new litters of puppies & kittens. On Wednesday, May 27th, we're hosting an open house style event to celebrate the improvements that have been made through the generosity of our donors while fostering new connections with community members looking to get involved as temporary homes for the most vulnerable population of pets who come through our doors. This event is open to anyone who supports the work we do and is interested in learning how to continue improving the lives of pets & people in our community together!
5:00 PM Ribbon Cutting Celebration for:
• Kennel Renovation Completion thanks to AlphAs Gym, Zen Paws Farm, Purina, CoolHeat Plus, Enchanted Tails Pet Resort, The Italiano Family, The Pennington Family & Ron and Karla Smith
• Pet Food Pantry Expansion thanks to the Edwardsville Community Foundation
• Veterinary Viewing Window & Memorial "Bella's Bench" in honor of Emerson Strieker thanks to the Strieker Family
After the ceremony, we invite you to join us for:
• Board member guided tours of our new & improved facility
• Puppy & Kitten Foster Info & Onboarding sessions (5:30, 6:00 & 6:30 PM)
• Puppy & Kitten shower supply drive - If you’re able, bring an item from mehs.org/supplies for our puppy & kitten shower to help us prepare for the influx of littlest lives this spring and summer!
