Explore FVI’s Open House & Nursing Information Session.
Join us on campus for an in-person session where you can tour our Miami campus, see parts of our nursing learning environment, and get helpful information about the Nursing program and admissions process.
During the session, you’ll learn about:
- Program overview and learning experience
- Admissions requirements and next steps
- Upcoming start dates and cohort availability
- Student support services and campus resources
You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of what’s required to apply, what to expect as you begin, and where to find support and information throughout the process.

What to expect at the Nursing information session
During this session, you will:
✅ Review admissions requirements and application steps
Learn what documents are needed, key dates, and the next steps in the admissions process. Our team will explain where to find support and who to contact with questions.
✅ Explore the program overview and curriculum
Hear how the program is structured, what courses are included, and the learning activities students complete throughout the program.
✅ Learn about scheduling options (when available)
Review current day/evening class schedule options and expected time commitments. Scheduling options may vary by campus and term.
✅ Discuss financial aid and payment information
Receive general information about financial aid options for those who qualify, tuition, payment plans, and next steps.
✅ Understand NCLEX-RN and licensure information
Learn about available preparation resources and the general steps involved in pursuing licensure. Licensure requirements vary by state.
✅ Review career services support
Learn about available career services, such as resume and interview preparation and job search resources (training does not guarantee employment).

✅ How to prepare
To make the most of your visit, we recommend:
- Bringing a photo ID for check-in
- Bringing a notebook or your phone for taking notes
- Preparing a list of questions about admissions, schedule, costs, or career outcomes, financial aid, etc.
- If you have them, bringing unofficial transcripts so you can ask about potential credit transfers.
