In today's fast-paced world, balancing the demands of school, work, and home responsibilities can make it difficult for women to find time to ground themselves and focus on their well-being. This two-part series in collaboration with COMEOHM and the Villij, aims to provide a space for women to connect with themselves and each other, exploring new experiences that they may not often have access to. Participants will explore practices that promote inner peace, and personal growth, hoping that this series serves as a much-needed break from your busy lives to nurture your mind, body, and soul.
Session One: Coming (OHM) with Basma Hakem - July 7th
Led by Basma Hakem, a mental health professional and co-founder of COMEOHM, we will explore psycho-educational activities that promote self-reflection and personal growth. This is open for those looking to ground yourself through guided reflections, and group activities, and leave with a few self-care goodies. Participants will explore practices that promote inner peace, and personal growth, hoping that this series serves as a much-needed break from your busy lives to nurture your mind, body, and soul.
Session Two: TrapSoul Yoga with TheVillij Instructor - July 21st
Connect your mind, body, and soul in TrapSoul Yoga. This soothing practice focuses on finding balance through a combination of physical postures, breath control, and meditation. This is suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. Participants will also leave with a “Just Checking In’ Deck. This session is offered through pay-what-you-can.
