About this Event
Open Hearts, Open Doors is a community gathering centered on healing, compassion and care for those impacted by harassment, assault, and violence to come together in honesty, compassion, and healing. LISTENING CIRCLES
Listening circles are designed to help people process an event or issue that poses a challenge or harm to their communities or has impacted people in a significant way. They are voluntary, community-oriented forums aimed at providing an equitable opportunity for all attendees to have a voice. They are not focused on problem solving, dialogue, or debating. They are meant for creating a space for expressing, listening, processing, and community building.
MEN'S SECTION
For those identifying as male we will have a separate enclosed area from the woman so all can share more freely.
PROMISE OF CONFIDENTIALITY
We are gathering to reflect, remember and restore through respectful listening and interconnection.
Your journey is your journey but in listening we will recognize that we can learn from one another.
We center trust and agree to share our story, but respect the stories that others carry.
