Open Hack Night: The Weekly Meet-Up for Pittsburgh’s Hackers and Tech Community
Every Thursday evening from 6:30 to 9 pm, Hackers Guild PGH hosts Open Hack Night — our standing weekly event for the technically curious. It’s part social night, part open lab, and entirely about community.
You’ll find people working on everything from embedded systems, circuit boards, and FPGAs to software projects, cybersecurity challenges, and experimental tools. It’s a night for those who love technology — not just using it, but understanding how and why it works.
There’s no fixed agenda. Some hack, some chat, some show off their latest projects, and some just drop in to see what’s going on. It’s a relaxed, high-signal evening for professionals, students, and enthusiasts to collaborate, learn, and trade ideas. And if you’re new or just curious about joining the Guild — this is the night to come by, meet people, and get a sense of the space and the community. No RSVP, no membership needed — just show up.
