This is a joint opening of two gardens situated next to each other - Farm Raiser and Bellfield Community Garden.Farm Raiser is a vibrant urban farm that balances productivity with agricultural charm. Lush vegetable beds burst with seasonal produce, surrounded by flowering plants that attract bees and butterflies, creating a lively, picturesque green space in an urban setting. Visitors are invited to explore all the different vegetables and see medium scale agriculture in action.
The Bellfield Community Garden is perhaps one of the best community gardens in Victoria and it's the attention to detail that's a standout. The garden is purpose built by a designer and includes recycled double brick English bond large communal beds, curved meandering paths and many murals and mosaics are spread throughout the garden. There's also a children’s play area!
Entry to both gardens is: $15 Adults/$11 Students (with ID card) /Under 18 or students who have purchased an annual Student Pass (with ID) - Free
Tickets can be booked and pre-paid online via TryBooking. You can also pay on the day.
