About this Event
As your son or daughter starts their last year at primary school, your thoughts will be turning to a choice of secondary school from September 2022.
Therefore, we would like to invite you to attend an Open Evening here on THURSDAY 14th October 2021.
It is an excellent opportunity for you to see our:
- Established values and high standards
- Teaching and support teams at work with pupils
- Support systems for your individual child
- Facilities available in all areas of school life
- Forward looking curriculum
To help minimise the number of people in school at one time a booking system will be in place with allocated time slots for 50 people every 15 minutes to have a tour of the Academy.
This system has been implemented to keep the community as safe as possible, please do not attend if any of your group have any COVID-19 symptoms.
All students and their parents/carers will need to book a time slot via our this site in advance of the evening.
The first bookable session will be from 5:00pm and subsequent sessions will be available every 15 minutes until 6:15pm. The full tour will last approximately 90 minutes.
If you are unable to attend, some video footage from the evening with introduction from the headteacher, will be available on our website from 15th October.
Both students and teachers will be present to meet you; you will have an opportunity to look around the school to see groups of students working in a variety of subject areas and view for yourselves the facilities available.
If you wish to bring your child with you, we shall be pleased to see him/her but please limit your numbers to immediate family only so that we can make the evening as COVID safe as possible.
