After YEARS of followers and supporters asking us to do a strictly craft and handmade sale, we are pleased to announce that we are not only doing one, we are doing one for a CAUSE!
May we introduce you to... THE OPEN DOOR CRAFT SHOW!!!
Look, there are a lot of craft shows out there, no doubt - but there's never been one done by the people behind Yardsaleapalooza! We are creating this event in hopes of bringing an ELITE collection of crafters, woodworkers, artists, soap and candle-makers, and really basically anyone that MAKES things into one massive sale at the Michigan Sports Facility!
The best part? This event is for a cause, too! Entry for this event will be BY DONATION ONLY! People can come and pay $1 to get in, or $100 to get in if they want - because ALL proceeds from the door go directly towards the organizations that call the Michigan Sports Facility home - we're talking Flight Volleyball, Basketball, the Jackson Area Youth Sports Club Rec Leagues, Gus Macker, and more! The door money will be distributed evenly to do a LOT of good for a LOT of kids in the area!
Where is this place, exactly?
The Michigan Sports Facility is located at 3055 Shirley Drive in Jackson. Kind of over by Red Lobster and all of the hotels. Directly next to Sercombe Trucking and kiddie corner to 127 Brewing. You can take 127 to get to it, Parnall Road OR Lansing Avenue all lead to MSF!
How much are booths at the Open Door Craft Show?
Booths for this event are $50 each, and that gets you a 10 ft x 10 ft selling area. At the Open Door show, EVERY booth is a corner booth - this map is designed from the ground up with our vendor's best interest in mind!

We only have 84 spots, so act fast and make sure you don't get shut out!!
What about food vendors?
We will be allowing a select number of bakers to be present. No food trucks, as there is a concession stand in the building.
What makes this different than any other craft show?
Well, OFFICIALLY?? Notthing. But know that THIS craft and handmade only show is brought to you by the people who organize Yardsaleapalooza, Jubipalooza (Hot Air Jubilee Vendor Village), Jollypalooza, MeggaXP, Blood Bash, and the "Open Door Horror Show" - so you that we are going to do our best to bring in as many people as we possibly can! Our reputation when it comes to shows speaks for itself via our attendees and our vendors! We pride ourselves on putting our vendors FIRST, and we always will do that!
Are there going to be about a million of the same type of thing at this show?
Well, this IS a CRAFT / HANDMADE ONLY show - so there's a good chance that if you're looking for one type of thing, there may be a couple of different people selling that. Normally we go to great limits to avoid having too many of one type of thing, but since this IS a craft show, there's a good chance you might see a lot of crafty things :-)
What does "OPEN DOOR" mean?
Our open door series of events means that we are opening the doors to our community to help us help a cause. There is no OFFICIAL entry fee to come in and shop this event, because we feel there is no bad price for doing a good thing. Literally every single person who comes in could donate $1 to get in and we'd be fine with that - because it all adds up to help our kids!
Where does the OPEN DOOR money go?
There are a variety of organizations that operate out of the Michigan Sports Facility. The money that patrons donate will go to help keep those organizations functioning. It will help do things like keep equipment updated, cover league fees for kids who can't afford to play without your help, make sure everyone has access to safe and reliable gear to play with, etc.
