About this Event
We're making “bad” art on purpose, and feeling fantastic about it.
Let's ditch the weight of the world and reconnect with our inner child. In this workshop, there's no such thing as “bad" art. We are tapping into the freedom of silly, spontaneous, joy-filled creating. Using mixed media (think: old magazines, glue sticks, paint, crayons, googly eyes… the works), we’ll experiment with whatever feels fun — and messy — as let go of societal standards about what art should be.
There’s no experience necessary, no right or wrong way to create, and absolutely no such thing as a mistake. All of our perfectly imperfect masterpieces definitely deserve a spot on the fridge.
Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring an old magazine or two. Come as you are — curious, weird, tired, excited, open — and leave with art that’s full of heart (and maybe glitter).
