OontzKids: Music Production Camp- Southlake

Come join us for a fun-filled week at The Westin Dallas Southlake for our Music Production Camp!

Learn how to create your own beats, play virtual instruments, design your own sounds, edit and remix your favorite music, and even record and produce your own music from scratch!

Each student will be outfitted with their own workstation that includes:

• Laptop Computer with Professional Music Production Software (Ableton Live)
• Hundreds of Drum Loops, Sample Clips, Virtual Instruments, and Effects Plugins
• MIDI Keyboard with mappable keys, knobs, and performance pads
• Headphones and Splitter for Working with Instructor

Topics Covered in the Class will Include:

• Understanding the Difference between Audio and MIDI Tracks
• Creating and mixing simple Multi-Track Projects
• Using Pre-Recorded Loops and Samples
• Creating Drum Loops from Scratch
• Playing Virtual Instruments and Designing Your Own Sounds
• Sampling Real-World Sounds and incorporating them into projects
• Adding Audio & MIDI Effects to Your Project
• Performing Your Project Live with Electronic Instruments
• Recording and Exporting your Project to an *.mp3 file for others to enjoy
