About this Event
Join Hama Hama’s veteran oyster educators for a fun, hands-on Oyster 101 class at Pal’s on the Columbia River. You’ll start with a shucking lesson and plenty of practice, then move through a comparative tasting that explores how oyster culture varies from region to region and how growing method influences flavor and texture. We’ll experiment with condiments and preparation approaches, share oyster stories, and leave you with the confidence to be a smarter oyster consumer—whether you’re eating oysters at home, in restaurants, or fresh off the beach.
Includes: guided instruction, shucking practice, and a comparative oyster tasting.
Location: Pal’s
Capacity: limited.
Timing: 10 am 12 pm
Note: This is a hands-on class—expect to get a little messy.
