Onikishi whisky is produced in Hyogo Prefecture home to Mount Kasagata where the clear spring water of the Noma River flows. This is also the birthplace of Japan. In mythology Izanami and Izanagi created the world's first island starting from the Jingo Shrine which is close to Awaji Island. This place also gives the perfect story background for "Ghost Samurai".
